The Preacher’s Son
Jess Shelley is a handsome forty four year old pastor with a wife and three kids-ministering in a medium size New England church. One afternoon he comes in exhausted and realizes that his wife, Frann, isn’t there.
The Preacher’s Son is the story of a man’s struggle to remain godly through the most vile ordeal. It’s the story of his wife, who must fight courageously to overcome every woman’s worst nightmare. It’s the story of three children, living in the fishbowl for all to see, when this horrific tragedy wreaks havoc on their family.
The Preacher’s Son was the first novel that I wrote and penning the Shelley’s story gave me the desire to create all of the other pastors’ families that I’ve written about since then.
